 Brent Mellow is a licensed Colorado broker and REALTOR® with ERA Shields Real Estate serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding communities. He brings more than 30 years of business experience to residential real estate, including a decade in commercial banking and over 20 years building and leading a successful consulting firm. His background provides a strong foundation in financial analysis, negotiation, and disciplined transaction management — skills that directly benefit buyers and sellers navigating one of life’s most significant financial decisions.

Brent approaches each transaction with a focus on preparation, pricing strategy, and clean execution. He emphasizes data-driven decision-making, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving from listing or contract through closing. Brent also invests in residential properties for his own portfolio, where he acts as a principal and not an agent.

Brent has been married for more than 30 years and is the father of three adult children. He is a former Scoutmaster and an Eagle Scout. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and fly fishing — pursuits that reflect his appreciation for Colorado’s outdoors and his preference for challenge, discipline, and steady endurance.
